PORK BARRELISTIC REACTIONS

Don't Google it. There's no such thing as "pork barrelistic" on Google yet.

Since I compiled the posts of Anonymous people, there are all sorts of reactions, but anger, disgust, and hopelessness prevail in the comments section of Anonymous Speaks: Pork Barrel Scam. Shall we let this pass as is? What are we going to do? Many are crying, "It's too much! No to corruption!"

There were suggestions of a purge. But is this what we need at this time? The Philippines has the "best economic growth marks and improved public finances" in Asia according to Forbes. We might as well let the Philippines enjoy the good image while it lasts. We miss seeing our country's name in such a good standing so a purge now is uncalled for. Of course, whether the good news is felt in the country or not is another issue. There are many other reasons why I don't like a revolution or any forms of violence. We have enough of these in some parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and in the streets of Manila. So another People Power Revolution is out of the picture.

Martial Law, some say. I don't think so. Haven't we learned from our history? We were able to overthrow a dictator but look what we got into. We were able live past FM's Martial Law and gained back our democracy. We became a free nation, largely in thoughts and language. PNoy and Martial Law and Pinoys in 2013 just don't look good.

I think we need a different approach. If we will keep on doing the same things the same way, we will not get a different result, right?

While some Anonymous comments air more hostile approach to purging scammers and corrupt politicians, Atty. Raymond Fortun has this to say:

Do you think we can make the honorable men and women of the Philippine Congress heed our call to investigate their colleagues? Yes, we can. If we will have a unified voice and nudge them a little through our presence in the Internet and social media, we can expect something than doing nothing at all. If those who speak louder will add their voice to the voice of the Anonymous Filipinos, maybe, just maybe, they will listen. We just want to know the truth and let justice prevail. Let them know that we are not losing interest. We are waiting for their action.

DulzSpeaks is just one of the many still small voices in the deep corners of the Internet. My voice is just a whisper. A whisper.

Some people will believe anything if you whisper it to them.
- Miguel de Unamuno

To the Senators and Congressmen:

**Pork barrel scam? YOU DON'T DO THAT TO FILIPINOS.**

  1. The last person i will put my faith upon are the lawyers aka liars, lalo na kung kung ang name nya ay Raymund Fortun. Bad name recall kung baga.

Ayaw mo ng trial by publicity?

  7. I think the best strategy is to gather more information from people who were directly involved in this. I am sure along the way they have crossed somebody. Laging may naagrabyado sa hatian. In this time and age of information, may sisngaw at sisingaw dyan. Just wait.

Death and destruction are never satisfied, and neither are the eyes of man..
God will surely bring judgement to every deed done publicly or in secret. No one can escape, let the Him expose every wickedness this people bring about to their fellow: in His time and in His ways..God bless Philippines.

  13. From one concerned citizen who hopes and pray na sana the power of internet / social media can help us Pinoy get to the bottom of this hineous crime. We can do this if we unite, be vigilant and be informed..we need to continue to spread the word and let the politicians know that we are keeping watch and we will not hesitate to let the world know what is going on with corruption in the Philippines...we can no longer be silent and let the abuse of power prevail. I will continue to pray and believe that there are still honest people in the government, and they too are looking forward to that day when all Pinoy will be proud and be progressive. I love my beautiful country the Philippines...we are rich in our natural resources and our people are very resilient, peaceful and loving...I see that day when we will have another kind of People Power using the internet to bring about this change we have been longing to have...keep the faith!! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!
